Cupping Therapy suctions skin, fascia, and superficial muscle into the cup. This loosens the area and increases blood flow. It may improve your range of motion. Circular bruising may occur, but this is normal. Cupping is typically combined with massage.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) focuses on one or two muscle groups per session. NMT incorporates a combination of myofascial release, trigger point therapy, friction techniques, and slow, deep massage along the muscle fibers.
During TMJ Massage, the jaw, neck, and head are the focus. In addition to external jaw massage, I also encourage intraoral massage. While working inside your mouth, I wear nitrile gloves. I will discuss and explain the process before the session begins, so that you know what exactly to expect.
Oncology Massage uses modified massage therapy techniques, to work safely with complications of cancer and cancer treatment. Oncology massage may be used before cancer treatment, during treatment, and/or after treatment. I have had additional training beyond the standard massage therapy education.
